Anxiety vision and obsessive thinking?
Just wanted to know if anyone shares my symptoms and would appreciate any advice on whether this is really anxiety or not.
I've been getting slanted vision lately. For example, sometimes when I'm on the computer, the words and border on the computer screen seem slanted. I'm not sure if this is just in my mind or real.
I've seen an optometrist and she said my eyes are fine. In addition, she also said that if it were any major problem, I would be likely to experience double vision.
As for the past, I have been getting obsessive thinking about trivial things in the past 5 months which is mostly gone now. I just waited it out and tried to keep my mind occupied so that's no longer a concern. I'm curious as to whether or not my slanted vision is linked to my past obsessive thinking.
I have not taken any drugs to deal with anxiety as my condition is not disabling, just really really annoying at times.
Any thoughts, suggestions, comments are appreciated !

Re: Anxiety vision and obsessive thinking?
Hi there
I have been experiencing the exact same thing!
For the past 3 months I've had headaches, tension, visual disturbances etc
There are many visual disturbances I have experienced, and the slanted vision is one of them
They started after I went to the optician and found out I had astigmatism in my left eye
The slanted vision started when I got correction glasses
I have had a CT scan which came back normal, and the doctors seem pretty convinced that its all just a result of anxiety!
