My mother has been suffering for years now with what we think is some kind of allergy or stress related condition. The doctors have so far been unsuccessful with a diagnosis. It happens about once every 3 weeks, for no specific reason, and after eating no specific food, her cheeks swell up, sometimes only one cheek, sometimes both cheeks. It starts with a prickly sensation, then becomes hot and itchy. It seems to be getting worse as the swelling now effects her throat aswell. It closes her throat and she feels she cant breath. Please help.
