Bf's knee
Hes a rugby player and a few years ago he was tackled weird and kind of hyper extended his knee. Recently he was a rugby practice and a teammates knee hit his MCL right after that he tried to jog it off but his whole leg cramped up, once his calve stopped cramping up and it repeated for about 15 minutes and at one point his whole leg cramped up, and just above his patella it was all dark and swollen, and the trained also said his MCL is warmer on one leg than the other. The next 2 days he found it hard to move his ankle up and down without any pain in his calve and couldn't fully bend it back. Any clues?

Re: Bf's knee
I would recommend getting your bf to see a doctor or physiotherapist - important to exclude unlikely but serious conditions such as a DVT or other vascular abnormalities. He could simply have a ligament tear such as an MCL sprain, ACL sprain, PCL sprain and associated muscle spasm, or it could be a Calf strain combined with a thigh contusion. Symptoms certainly sound unusual.
Hope that helps,
