Bump

I got a bump on my leg that looked like an ingrown hair at first. So i tried squeezing it out then it just swollen. so i put neosporin on it, nothing got better. Then i tried cortizone. That did nothing. I thought maybe it was a bug bite, because it swelled up then got red, and bothered me. After the fourth day I said this is serious, I got to see the doctor, and he didn't know for sure, but gave me antibiotics for it. It's still the same not better and not worse, unless I mess with it. Then it get's really irritated and more red, almost dark red. I'm having anxiety attacks wondering what it is and what's the cure. I just assume the doctor cut the darn thing off. It's not itchy, and i really dont notice it unless im looking at it or thinking about it. I pray it's not life threating. Dr did some blood work so when i go back to see him maybe he will have the answers. So if anybody has any idea on what it might be......Please dont hesitate on helping me fix this bump thing. I'm open on idea's.

The fact that it gets worse after you squeeze or aggravate it would seem that you shouldn't do that. I don't really know what it could be or why it's there, but my advise to you would be to leave it alone until you get a clear picture from the doctor.

Did you get a diagnosis? My son has had a red like bump on his leg three times. He has taken antibiotics all three times and now he has another bump. Does your bump have a center pocket of puss? If so, what state do you live in? I am asking because I live in riverside county and my feeling is that it has something to do with the water. Awaiting your response.
