headache x 1 month along with dizziness and confusion

I have had a headache for a month solid as of yesterday. I also have dizziness along with bouts of confusion. The confusion is almost like blackouts but I'm wide awake. I've lost anywhere from 2 to 7 or 8 minutes. Then there are times that I can't get a simple word to come out of my mouth, I know in my head what it is that I want to say it just will not come out. I am more irritable than I've ever been in my life but I'm also in pain everyday so I guess that's to be expected. I have had a Head CT which was normal as well as a MRI of the brain that was negative. My doctor has had me do the heal-toe walk, follow my finger test and all of those tests. He said I failed every one of those. My eyes also didn't react to the light pen like he said that he expected. I've searched and searched for answers with this problem. I have a neurology appointment scheduled but am not really sure what will happen with a negative MRI. The MRI also checked the inner ear and I'm assuming it was fine since the test was negative. If anybody has any answers that will help me I would appreciate it very much. My quality of life has been greatly affected because I feel like being in bed all of the time, especially as the day goes on and the worse I feel.

Try getting tested for Lyme disease, i know that you can have that without and symotoms and also with a few to all of them. One of them being confusion...
