difficult time breathing through nose for 6 years now
I lived in atlanta for 4 years because of college, and developed allergies as atlanta is, i believe, the most allergen filled major city in the world.
I had to constantly cough, sneeze, mucus, etc...
Now, wherever I go, even my hometown with almost no significant allergens (pacific island), it just seems to be a condition.
I went to 2 reputable Korean hospitals that specialize in allergies, the nose, and i had a minor surgery that corrected the structure of my nose, but frankly, nothing seems to have changed. I've been to two other doctors, but all 4 can't seem to find a source, one even saying it might be psychological, which i and my friends and family find absurd. Somteimes the blockage is so extreme, i can whistle through my nose.
People can audibly hear my labored breathing and at times, i downright whistle through my nose because of blockage. I have difficulty breathing through both nostrils, although the severity of each seems to alternate with no pattern.
I'm going to a large hospital in Korea in 2 weeks time to a doctor that specializes in these instances, but regardless of the length of treatment, whether short or long, I'll only be in Korea for a scant 2 weeks, so i thought it would be prudent to ask the members of this forum for their experiences and potential insights. Maybe through that, i can give the doctor more info.
Thank you.
