extremely hot HELP !!!!
Hi, I am 30 years old and have had a problem with heat intolerance since I was a child. Doctors cannot figure out was is causing this and it is getting worse. I do not do any drugs or drink any caffeine. I even stay away from chocolate.
When I am outside in the sun, even for a short amount of time I begin to have symptoms of heat exaustion. My face becomes extremely red, I get a severe headache, feel dizzy, blurry vision, breath heavy, sweat (clammy at times) and even vomit. I can just be sitting in the sun not doing any activity and this happens. I do not understand this and have been getting worse. When I was a child I would play sports and would run off the court or field to get sick then would keep playing. I now cannot get rid of the heat headache for hours to usually the next day.
I have learned to deal with it since it started in about 5th grade for me. However my 4 year old son has it, he is miserable and hates playing to hard or going outside for very long. It breaks my heart to see him go through the misery I understand. The pediatrician is at a loss for what is going on. The daycare gets so concerned they only let him play half the recess. His little face gets so red, he looks as if he is going to pass out right there. They have done heart tests on him but everything is normal, as well as thyroid tests on both of us. All normal, please if anyone has any insight I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you
