Partner
My partner likes to take things that don't belong to him. Namely, sweetners (in a large quantity of maybe 2 dozen at a time) from coffee houses; sometimes a cookie that is packaged and on the counter at coffee houses and money from my wallet (as much as $100 or more). Other than doing this, he is a great guy with an easy going personality and many friends. He is a senior citizen who has done very well for himself and doesn't need any of what he takes. I'm sure that he must know that I am aware of what he's doing although I've never said anything. Why would he do this and place his reputation and relationship on the line? What should I do?

Re: Partner
Talk to him, bring it out in the open. he might be what they call a klepto and you have never noticed before? but you should talk to him, if he can addmit it theres a chance he can stop. But be supportive as it is a disease and there are specialsts for that type of disorder.
i'm not a doctor or anything i just know from experiences.
