Extreme Exhaustion
I have a problem that is sort of hard to explain. It happens infrequently and usually when I am sick with a cold, cough, or something of the sort. It starts at night while I am sleeping. The other night I was waking just enough to know something was wrong. I felt as if my insides were shaking but I don't think I was awake enough to do anything about it. When I finally was awake enough I was so weak and exhausted I could barely walk. My legs felt like jelly and I was too weak to even scratch my nose. It has been 4 days and I am able to function by extremely tired. I have had this happen maybe 7 or 8 times in the last few years. It is almost a feeling of being drugged, sort of like I know what is going on but not concious enough to do anything about it. I've told my doctor but he just says to get some rest. I am concerned.

Re: Extreme Exhaustion
Have you ever had any seizure like symptoms when awake? Check out Restless Leg syndrome or periodic limb movement disorder(PLMD). I wish you luck.
