Mysterious lumps..
I am an almost 18 year old female and I have found a painful, little bigger than a pea sized lump on the side of my head (above ear and hairline) and I dont know what it is.. I also get lumps on my upper back, around my shoulder area and once in my lip. My mom thought it could be a pimple because it's red but after two days of squeezing nothing has happened other than more pain.. It is hard to the touch and moves around with the skin on my scalp if i move it.. You can feel/see the noticable bump when you try and find it. Other than that I dont know what it is..
I have alot of cancer within my family so I'm a little worried that might have something to do with it. (My brother, and grandparents died of cancer, my grandpa on my moms side had skin cancer and now has bladder cancer)
And last night I noticed a lump on the back of my shoulder (doesnt hurt as much as the one on my head but still hurts) and is also red. I've had some like those before and they arent pimples because they dont burst, they just stay under the skin..

Re: Mysterious lumps..
I have the exact symptoms as you. I was told today by my doctor I have lymph cancer. your age group (under 20) and my age group (over 50) are the most common people to get this terrible disease. Tell your doctor to get an ultra sound and/or cat scan and go from there. I am amazed at the similarities of our symptoms. Sorry.
