    Default Snoring and Mucus

I hope I can find some relief here, I snore like a lumber jack and wake with my mouth so dry that I can hardly swallow. Another thing is my tongue is pressed to the roof of my mouth upon waking. After I'm up sorry, I do not know another word to describe this other than hacking up mucus, suck it down then spit it out. After I get it cleared out I'm find the rest of the day, no drainage, nothing. I have success with 1/2 dose over the counter nasal cold decongestant and it keeps me from snoring and works until about 3am. My doctor doesn't really want me to use the medicine because it increases blood pressure, which I take medication for. This has been going on for over a year maybe longer, I'm tried when I wake if I don't take the meds ,should add that I'm female if that makes any difference. any Suggestions?

Obesity is one cause of OSA or obstructive sleep apnea... If your BMI is withing normal limits ...
Then i would wonder if DNS or deviated nasal septum may be the cause of your snoring...
Check both of these out with your doc...
