Urge to pee

4/06 weeks after car accident I was diagnosis with bladder infections but they later said after 3 months of medication I had no infection. Constant urge to pee and need to relieve myself every 20 minutes with left leg pain and back low back pain. Urgoloygyno specialist,say No interestial cyscitysis, the bladder fills up and holds urine. No tumors, But the urge to pee is still intense. MRI of back shows mild broad base protusion but nothing to note to cause this problem. Where do we go from here? What other tests do I need? The doctor is now sending me to the psychirarist? What will they figure out and how? Thanks

Driving when a car ran into my driver side door and pushed my car up onto the sidewalk. I felt pain in my left leg and back and was taken to hospital. There with a painfully full bladder I was finally released from my strapped down bed to pee before they did my x ray of the pelvis which showed ok. Obese, my blood counts are high and so is my pulse rate 96 today. no diabetes yet....

It's not diabetes insipitus. Your symptoms suggest some nerve dammage, which are causing you to feel as if you have to go all the time. See a better urologist, they can fix that now.

The urologist/gync specialist said today that I'm to see a psychatrist first then onto a pelvic floor specialist if need be. So this new Doctor should be the one to figure out why my head wants to go when I really don't need to? In the system Im in the wait is so long for each doctor. Can't a mri or scans show whats pressing on my nerves and causing this, my muscles in this area are also pretty weak when I had a bio feed back consultation last week. To spastic. If momey is not an object what is the best way to see whats wrong?

It sounds as if you have an overactive bladder.MEDS such as Ditropan or Detrol might help.
