Hemorrhoids or Rectal Prolapse...Please Help!

I am a 38 year old female with two kids (15 and 17). For many, many years now I have had my rectum protrude out of my anus when I go to the bathroom. When I urinate, it comes out a bit. When I have a bowel movement, it comes out much more. I have been going back and forth between whether I have internal hemorrhoids or a mucosal rectal prolapse. When I went to the doctor, he said I was too young for prolapse and that it was most likely hemorrhoids. He did a laser treatment and there has been no change at all. I have no bleeding from the rectum, no pain, no itching, just tissue that protrudes. The tissue is not purple, it is pink. In May I had surgery for rectocele which I thought would take care of this problem but it has not. I also had surgery for cystocele and a TVT sling. When I had my son, I ripped from front to back. I also have a history of laxative abuse (1998-1999) and anorexia. I am 100% better now! This prolapse began around 1999 and has gotten worse over the years. Could I have hemorrhoids for 10 years? I am so confused and want an answer. Up until April, I had not been to the doctor for years, except for a yearly check up, so I am not a hypochondriac or anything like that. I just know my body and I know that something is wrong and I can't convince my doctor that 38 year old women can suffer from prolapse too! Can anyone give me advice or tell me, you have hemorrhoids, get over it! When I went to the doctor he saw no external hemorrhoids and without feeling internally, diagnosed me with internal hemorrhoids.

my friend was 37 and had a prolapsed uterus and rectum, she had a procedure called a Mccalloplasty done and it tied her rectum back into the place it should be,,, her doctor told her it is common in younger women that are in the health care field or on their feet alot at work. good luck,,,

This answer might be 2 years late but for anyone searching for answers, it might be very important. After all it took me 12 years of searching to find out this remedy.

In China and Taiwan they have a food remedy for rectal prolapse using Black Fungus and Day Lily. Try searching in Chinese the China and Taiwan sites for more complete information.
