    Cool bladder control?!?!?!

I am am 18 year old female. For the past few months, every time i laugh, sneeze, cough, jump, stand up fast, etc. my bladder leaks. i love to dance, but everytime i make a sudden movement, i feel a small amount of urine come out-probably about a teaspoon. this is getting extremely annoying!!!! i have an urge to pee, but not a lot comes out. i can't remember the last time i actually peed a lot! haha! ..it does not burn when i urinate. i am constantly drinking water or green tea, NEVER cokes. could this be a bladder control problem?

Sounds like stress incontinence. I am going to get surgery for mine in a couple of weeks. Hopefully it will take care of the problem. It is such a pain to not even be able to race my kid without that crummy leakage happening.

My advice to you is to go see a Urologists and have him check you out. Good luck.

Well Hi There! ; I'm a bit older than you, but had a like condition. While in the hospital, they put me in what's called pull-ups. They worked great, if nothing else they gave me a feeling of confidence & ya know i'm still wearing them! Should do for now untill you get your sitch worked out. As a matter of fact i think everyone could benifit from them. As always, In His Service*

I would not get a tvt. I had one 13 months ago which eroded into my urethra. After it was removed the doctor "messed up" and I had no control at all. Even pull ups would not work (not that anyone would want to wear them). 3 more surgeries later and I am still leaking. Just got back from Dallas seeing a REAL doctor. Have to go through MRI'S, cysto, and urodynamics again. No fun. Think long and hard before you do surgery there is alot of medications out there I would try first. Wish I would have been as informed last year. Goodluck
