Heel and Thigh Pain
I'm a 47 year old male.
I have a pain on the outer thigh which is aggravated with physical activity, massage or compression. Rest periods of up to four months does not help much. One doctor could not see anything from a MRI scan. I took Arcoxia for two weeks ( 1 a day), and after a month of no medication, cataflam for three weeks. Neither was effective.
On the same leg, I feel pain under my heel when I sit for long periods. This pain goes away with exercise or leg elevation.
I have visible varicose veins from my knee all along my calves on the same leg. I'm confused since one pain is caused by exercise whil the other is relieved by it.

Re: Heel and Thigh Pain
Has your MD ruled out your sore points on thigh as being fibromyalgia? HAve her/his check your leg for more active pressure point on your legs. The under the heel thing coule be "planters fleche'" (s.p.) or a bone spur. I got those also when I first became syptomatic of fibro. It hurt like a big dog - had to tape my heel in towards my toes to add more heel cusion.
Good luck"Why Me?" I asked. A little voice said "Don't take it personally, some names were called and your's came up".
