Bladder infections
At least 3 or more times a year I get a bladder infection. Seems like when I eat a lot of sugar or get really stressed from work I get one. I try to watch how much sugar I eat but sometimes I get these cravings and eat too much. I notice the last couple times I got a bladder infection that my protein level is very high. I have been diagnosised with intersitial cystitis and take Santura for the frequency of urination. I also take super strenght cranberry pills to help flush my bladder everyday. I get so tired of taking medication. I take blood pressure, estrogen, santura, & cranberry pills. I know I am not as bad off as some people but I sure wish I could get these bladder infections under control. Does anyone have any suggestions or other diagonosis. Oh yeah, I wondered if my symptoms might be a precursor to diabetes because my blood glucose level is 198. Any coments would be welcome. Thank you.

Re: Bladder infections
Hi, oddly enough I get UTI'S a day or 2 before my period, and sometimes several times a month I get the burning. I take the cranberry pills too, but I also dring 2 tbs. of natural cider vinegar-- ( with the mother in it) is what I was told. I can buy this Vinegar at health food stores and it has what looks like dark brown stuff in the bottom. I shake it up before I drink it, and I put it in 1 glass of water. 2-3 times a day and it usually helps after the 2nd dose. I have been getting UTI'S for several years now and have not had to take an antibiotic for over 2 years now. Best of luck
