Default Rib Pains - Please Help, No Insurance...

I know this is no diagnosis but it will be a few months before I get insurance and just want opinions. I am 27 and male. I have severe acid reflux for a long time now which I'm taking zantac/prilosec for and i'm sure i'll be diagnosed with GERD. In the past few months I've had pains in my ribs on both sides. I can pretty much pinpoint where the pains are coming from by pushing down hard on my rib. The part where it hurts is only about the size of my fingertip or smaller, but I can't feel any bump. The placement of the pain is almost identical on both sides of my ribs. It feels like bruises and maybe a mild burning sensation. There is no sharp pain, but enough to feel it constantly. Sometimes it hurts more then others. Any ideas?

I posted this in another forum, but I think this one was a better choice so admin please remove my other post. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

I'd like to add a new symptom as of last night. I had a bump under my chin on my throat on the right hand side. I don't know if it is a gland or something else, but it is scaring me. I'm going to go to the doctor at least even though i know I'll need to wait for insurance to do all the big tests and x-rays.

Sorry I don't have any ideas, it's hard at this stage when you haven't seen the doctor yet.
Just wanted to wish you luck and hope you find the answers soon.
