ok can any one help, my left tonsil has shrunk back and become rounded, compared to the right side which appears preety normal, also on the left side of my neck seems like a lump or swelling there, any advice would be good thakyou.

Go see an ENT (ear/nose/throat) specialist.
Tonsils may not do anymore that bring you infections if they dont function properly. I finally had mine taken out at age 35. After years of swollen lymphnodes (below in the throat) recurring infections and a constant strep case. The ENT said, wow, those babys are just harboring bacteria & viruses.
