I would ask that person blaze who is on here talking about the cell phone and power lines. I will bet that is your frineds problem because if he goes up in an airplane he will be higher than all that stuff and he doesnt feel numb any more.

blaze also says that when their wireless broom is turned on they feel worse and i think that is so true because we have an electric corn popper that we got for christmas 2 years ago and when i use it i cant feel my toes on both feet for about 3 hours or so but when i dont use the corn popper i dont have the problem.

if it isnt the cell phone or power lines it may be lime disease. my doctor said i may have it but i dont like limes or any sour stuff so for me its not it but for your friend it may be

    take care

I'm amazed at the number of people who believe in electromagnetic sensitivity. Why don't you read,as I have, the studies that have been done on it?

how often does he have this problem? has he seen if it is a reaction to any food, place or chemical? tell him to write a diary about where he is, what he eats and when he has the problems. that way it is easyer to see if the exposure happened a few days before the symptoms.

I don't have an answer for you, but maybe this site will help. It is from the CDC and it talks about numbness experienced during air travel-- the opposite of your friend's problem, but perhaps related.
