    Unhappy extreme chronic constipation

    please help if you can. My daughter is 9 years old and has been labeled with chroinic constipation since she was 2 years old. Orginally she was constipated and tore when going to the bathroom witch started it all they said. We have had colon tests nothing is every wrong. She takes Mirlax every day. So then we go and have small accidents of leaking out in her pants with is very embrassing to her. A main concern it that her breath smells like poop. We have been to the hosptial 3 times because sh was so backed up. The doctors are also saying its all in her head the reason she does this now. I am at my wits ends on how to help her. I am open to suggestions. I am going to take her to a behavior therapist next. So if anyone has had this problem or any information on what to do please help. Thank you
