Re: I know this is my 3rd post but im really getting desprate
If you don't mind me asking, what is it you are seeking to find with respect to wanting an MRI or CT scan? If you don't mind, please describe the headaches; do they come on suddenly or gradually, is there a focused pain or does it occur all over the head, do you experience visual disturbances during the headaches, are there other symptoms that occur which alert you that a headache is about to occur? How long have you had the headaches and is there anything you take which reduces the pain? Do you feel washed out or sluggish following the dissipation of the headache?
Realize that these diagnostic imaging studies are not magical tools of some type that reveal the nature of symptoms being expressed by the patient, in your case headaches. We specifically use MRI and CT imaging to confirm rather than search for a cause. There is little to be gained by obtaining either of these imaging studies in the presence of pain symptoms expressed by the patient. Realize that pain from things like tumors cause a variety of symptoms well before any pain is experienced.
It's important to understand that demanding a test can be frustrating if your idea of what the test is utilized for is far different than your physician's.
As for the tiny lumps under your skin, I'm not certain what the statement by your doctor suggests, but the lumps are most likely lipomas, which as simply benign cysts composed of adipose tissue. They are typically firm to the touch but moveable under the skin and range in size from small nodules to growths sometimes quite noticable and cause raised areas on the smooth surface of the skin. They typically appear on the torso and arms, rarely the legs. If you have a good many of them, then it's possibly a condition known as familial multiple lipomatosis. It is harmless and is caused by a mitochondrial defect.
A metallic taste in the mouth is not suggestive of any type of disorder or disease, regardless of what you may hear or read from folks in the alternative or holistic practice arena about heavy metals, etc. This is entirely false. Bacteria can produce this type of taste in the mouth, as well as certain foods previously eaten.
Concerning the "jumping" sensation while attempting to sit down, I'm afraid you'll have to be a bit more descriptive. Are you experiencing muscle spasms in your legs or elsewhere, or does the sensation feel more like a pulsing effect in your head and chest when you try to sit down?
Observing your pulse in the places noted is not uncommon and would not constitute a sign of trouble.
Overall, you seem to be rather hypervigilent to your general physiological status. What do you think is wrong with you?
Best regards,
J Cottle, MD

Thank you for your reply.
The headahes ussuasly start gradually and i have no visual disturbances while i have them and no dizzyness or nausea. i was expericning eye floaters and stars which have no subsided. the headache is all around my head also there are parts of my head which i can press and feel a pinching tightness at the top of my scalp it dosnt hurt but i know its there.and i get pressure in my nose and under under the eyes.the jumping sensation is a body jolt.i dont think its pulsating. and i get this jolts all the time when sitting. they seem to becoming from the lower back but other times i get them on my upper back.doctor said these could be nerves or a muscle spasum
i also get a dull pain in my chest when i apply pressure to it
i am experincing muscle spasums in my arms.
As for what i think i have im not eniterly sure my blood works all came back fine and a chest Xraw showed no problems with the heart

if several conventional doctors (including specialists) don't know, you may have an unknown medical condition or a rare condition that probably can't be treated. you may want to look into alternative medicine or find a naturopath. they may have answers but beware there are plenty of quacks out there (if they practice homeopathy, stay away).

Should also mention that i had Gladular fever or Mono i think its called over there. had about 2 days of feeling well before this kicked in
the veins on around my head also feel quite sore
My main opion on why the Doctors keep putting this down to stress is because of the recent passing of my farther from a injury cause AAA.
i told them yes obviusly very stressfull times but these symtoms are to phyical to be stres..they all keep there diagnosis as this
i am genrally a Hypocondriact but i seriously think im dying

Don't know your history, but have you seen a neurologist? If not you really should. Just watched an episode of Medical Mysteries this evening. A woman had extremely severe headaches and a metalic taste in her mouth. She also had a drippy noise. Her headaches were worse when sitting or standing but improved lying down. If this sounds like you, get to a neurologist ASAP.
I feel for you as I am having severe headaches and other medical problems and basically being ignored too. It is rough when you know something is terribly wrong but doctors won't listen.
