canker sore or some kind of pimple? help confused

Hello, since last thursday i had this tiny pin head size pimple like there was a white head looking thing on it and it sticks out like a pimple, on the side of my inside lip, i was told it was a canker sore when i looked it up it sounds more extrem to what i had, mine dose not hurt or burn in anyway or open or puss out of it even tho i tried to pop it, im not in pain at all thats why im in doubt.
whats going on?
is it possible to get some sort of pimple like thing in the month?
if i got tested for some sort of herpes would it show if thats what it is?
and if someone got tested for any type of herpes but didnt break out around that time can the test show a good result still?
Im in active sex with my one and only partner, so im kind of freaked out on spreading it eles where.

You should not be giving oral sex with a sore in your mouth. Yes, you don't need to have an outbreak for the blood test to be positive...but, it could be something else...moloscum contagioum, hpv, herpes 1 or 2, maybe syphilis or maybe just a canker sore...you can spread it to genitals from your mouth.
