Pain during intercourse.
Recently i was having sex with my boyfriend, and it became irregularly painful and uncomfortable for me. When i went to the bathroom afterward, i realized my vagina had swollen. Could this be due to just not enough foreplay...vaginal dryness?
A few months ago I was hospitalized for Pelvic inflammatory disease. Does having it once make me more susceptible to getting it again? I'm worried that's why I was in pain.
Should I go to a doctor or wait for it to come back?

Re: Pain during intercourse.
go get checked for a STD; your PID may not have been totally cleared....or you picked up a new one..both you and your boyfriend would need antibiotics or a screening.
