Please help we're desperate!!!
I need help. My fiancee has something wrong and we don't know what it is. It's been over three years since it started and we still can't figure out what's wrong. He throws up every morning and has to force himself not to. He has blood in his stool and is tired all the time. With a 20 month old little boy running around all day it's not easy to be tired especially when I'm pregnant with our second and having really bad fatigue myself and morning sickness. I'll put a list of everything that I've noticed has changed as well as the symptoms he's having
- Vomiting
- Blood in stools
- Explosive bowel movements
- fatigue
- pain in abdomen
- irritability (which may be caused by being unable to keep a job due to all of this)
- moody
- Bowel movements shortly after eating which is not actually new but I know it's not normal
- Unable to get out of bed in the morning
- Headaches on occasions
Please we need all the help we can get I'm only working part time for almost minimum wage in retail and pregnant. I can't continue to be the bread winner when I only get 2 shifts a week and will be going on maternity leave soon.
He's already had a CT scan, upper GI, colonoscopy, blood work and a stool sample and still they can't figure out what it is. It does go away for a few weeks and then starts up again and we're back to square one.

Re: Please help we're desperate!!!
Sorry I forgot a few things in there as well. These are things that I've noticed in the whole 7 years we've been together.
- Spasams while sleeping
- Trouble falling asleep (over the last little while)
- Major pain the instant he feels he needs to have a bowel movement
He's normally very healthy and is a former highschool football player and normally very active. He's not one to complain about how he feels and when he does then you know that something is wrong.

I would find a specialist. Sounds to me that he is NOT a healthy man.
Take him for a 2nd, heck, even a 3rd opinion.

It may IBS. Sometimes because the food ispassed so quickly it can cause a vitamin deficiency. This would cause the fatigue. Hope this helps.

I am sorry to hear that your fiancee is so ill. There is a possibility that he has parasites that are not picked up by doctors. He has symptoms very similar to when my son Daniel went to Beirut as a foreign exchange student several years ago. As soon as he came back to the USA I took him to a local Detroit hospital, while at the hospital he had a bowel movement and about 1/2 cup of dark red blood came out with it. They did a culture on it, and after 3 days they still could not find any parasites. The reason was that the parasite did not lay eggs and nothing could be grown from the stool. The blood was dark because the parasite was eating through the stomach lining and by the time the blood went through the large intestine it was dark red. Usually if there is bleeding in the large intestine then the blood comes out bright red as it is fresh and hasn't traveling through your entire digestive track. So is your fiancee's blood dark or is it fresh bright red blood? In either case I would suggest concentrated oil of oregano extract.
The product that Dan took was made by Biotics Research Corporation, A.D.P. Emulsified Oil of Oregano, 120 tablet bottle, 50 mg or Oregano. He took it 4 times a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner and then before going to bed with a little food (like half a peanut butter sandwich). During that time I also had him on 9.0 ph alkaline water. I went to a water store here in the Detroit Area and bought it. Alkaline water to parasites is like poison. He took the pills for 10 days. After that he had a colonic for 3 days straight. The colon therapist was able to see large cockroach type parasites coming out in his stool. After that he was fine. It was very scary. Just a little note on me, I am a health consultant on the side, however I am not a licensed health professional. I do not diagnose, treat or cure diseases. I hope this helps you. God bless. - Dawn

What's his diet like?
I would try cutting out all milk and dairy products AND all wheat/flour products - he may be sensitive to gluten (wheat) or milk (casein).
Look up info on the web - there's tons of info about sensitivities/allergies to both.
Eliminate them both for a week and see if he feels better. Worth a try - its free - just have to buy different foods at the grocery store.

Re: Please help we're desperate!!!
Thank you so much I'll tell his doctor about this and try treating it with that on my own as well, after talking to his doctor anyways. I have always thought it was a parasite but when they tested and it came back negitive then I assumed that they were right and I was wrong. They are the professionals after all. I'll bring up your story to him and ask him to check it out again.
BTW his stools are both bright red and dark red at different times.

Please see a Gastroenterologist and discuss these symptoms with her/him.
This sounds like Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which could be Acute Colitis,
Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis.
Sometimes IBD can go undetected for years and may be difficult to
diagnosis based on testing alone.

Re: Please help we're desperate!!!
Well we talked to his doctor about it all yesterday and he actually told us to stop looking for the physical and instead start looking for the mental. Other then the bloody stools everything else seems to point to depression for him. I don't know if it's true or not but I guess I'm willing to take that chance for now but I'll be keeping a list of everything as well and it better work. I'm sick of having to go back for stupid ****
