finger swelling and nail deformity
dear readers, please help me if you can, my mother is a hard working middle-aged woman and for a while now she has been suffering from pain in the last joint of the finger closest to the tip. incompetent medical practitioners have diagnosed it as possible arthritis, however no treatment has help and a new symptom has developed which is a bump on the fingers, like a swelling, as well as the nails becoming misshapen. also some fingers have begun to bend a little sideways, please if there is anyone who may be able to offer any information at all it would be much appreciated.

Re: finger swelling and nail deformity
sounds like arthritis; she could try more natural routes for pain management: hypnosis, acupuncture, homeopathy
