The salt may not have been recommended to her to correct a salt imbalance.
Salt is sometimes given to fainting patients not due to them being low on salt.. but rather to raise Blood volume and BP. Low Blood volume can cause low BP and fainting.

Did you ever get a diagnosis? Did it go away? My 14 year old son has the exact same symptoms, but the dizziness and head ache are 24/7. He's been diagnosed with postural blood pressure, but I don't understand why he has it all day long. So far he's been sick for 3 weeks, attending school only 1/2 days due to fatigue.

is she eating products with sucralose or splenda? how about aspartame-
these would be in diet foods, sodas, candies and sugar free gum and all foods really you have to check the labels-
lite yogurts, atkins diet foods and candies, diet or lite ice cream like blue bunnie or bryers, fresca has it and it is not diet - so read labels

all of the artificial sweeteners mentioned above are poison-
they cause multiple symptoms and you can check the internet under their names to find testimonials of their neg. affects to people. People have real horror stories about these products and how the symptoms disappeared after they stopped eating, but some were already having to have surgeries- like tumor removals and seizures.

check google, facebook groups, youtube - you will find them there for you to read and learn

Instead of medicines, try to adjust neck muscles. A five minute job can solve all the problems. You can write to me PArjuna85210@yahoo.com

I am wondering did your daughter take a vaccine- called Gardacil ?

If so please research this on the google and read as much as you can find on it- stay away from the Merck research or tailored sites because this is the company who puts the vaccine out.

Thanks - hope your daughter finds her solution ASAP
A good cleanse if she did take the vaccine and a good cleanse is a good idea- they clean the body from toxins that make the body sick- they are simply a fiber filled routine diet for a week or so and this flushes the body.

Yes!!! I began having terrible headaches at about 12 years old, but began getting the dizziness suddenly when I turned 42...Have her checked for a Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) or Atrial Septal Defect (ASD)....The dizziness turned out to be a mini stroke and I was found to have a PFO (hole in heart) that I had at birth but was never detected. If your daughter has ever been diagnosed with a heart murmur one of the aforementioned could be the problem and if she has not it could still be the problem as I mentioned happened with me. I went for years having terrible migraine headaches because of that. Good luck!

I had this same feling of falling. I went to several doctors and finally found that it was "acute vertigo". it makes you feel dizzy, sick at your stomach and it very scary sometimes. go to a Ears, Nose and throat doc. vertigo does not always feel like the room is spinning. mine makes me feel like I am falling or bouncing up and down.

She has gardasil poisoning - go to Let's_Talk_about_Gardasil Yahoo group.
They will share how they were able to heal their daughters it through the diet.
Good Luck - They will help you with all the emotions you are experiencing from this nightmare.

My daughter is 12 and has been having trouble for 5 weeks, similar to this thread. I have picked her up from school many times because the school nurse called me, and school has only been in session for 6 weeks! She is dizzy a lot, has headaches a lot, and just feels run down. She has been running low-grade fevers often. Last week, we had a CMP and CBC done, and her neutraphils came back at less than half of what they should be. Yesterday, I had another CBC done and her neutraphils are back to normal, thank goodness. The docs are saying that some bad virus just wiped her out and now she is rebuilding...but I'm not so sure. The headaches and dizzyness and fatigue seem to be getting worse, not better.

Several weeks ago, after about 10 days of feeling bad, I took her in and she was diagnosed with hydrastatic hypotension, which is the when the blood pressure drops in sitting and standing positions. She carries water with her everywhere and salty snacks. However, this is not the only issue going on, I know it, I feel it. I'm a mom, and I'm not the mom who freaks out at every sniffle and heads to the ER. I am very laid back, don't freak about things and gather information. But I am freaking out now. Well, I was. When her neutraphils were so low, the fear was that she had some kind of life-threatening disease, most of which, with that issue, are bone marrow related and not good.

I just feel like something is still going on. On August 2, she had vaccines and I wonder if this is related. She had a DTAP booster, her second Varicella, and Meningococcal vaccines. Has anyone had issues with that? She has never had the HPV vaccine, I feel we don't know enough about it.

She has started to develop a little, with a small amount of hair and some breast tissue, but has not started menstruating yet. She's very small and thin, only 75 pounds and 4'10", but it is not a weight issue, she is just that way genetically. She eats fine, her appetite is the only thing that really hasn't been affected. I make everything from scratch so we are not eating a bunch of processed foods, but I am seperated from my husband and I know she eats more **** over there. Once a week I allow my kids to have the boxed macaroni and cheese. We have lots of fruit and veggies and my biggest sin in the snack department is Pepperidge Farm Goldfish. I do have flavored water with artificial sweeteners and I feel like, as one of the other posts stated, they are poison, so I am phasing those out and working on a good recipe for our own flavored water made with water and natural juice. She really drinks mostly plain water though, that's what she likes.

    Any thoughts?
