    Exclamation e-nough is e-nough

I was dignosed with pneumia about 1 month ago. I am having shortness of breath. I am on an inhaler, cough medicine with codine. I am resting alot.
but now I can hardly catch my breath when I cough. I made a sound like I can not breath, which I can't.

The Dr. sent me in for a catscan, xrays, and now respirtory. well on the respirtory they did the test and my dr. call me back and said I had a liner on the lungs??? ok, now what, she schedule me an appoitment to see the pullmogoist dr.

what is lung disease and can it be cured.
cancer runs in my family on both sides.
Is the lung disease showing up now due to the pneumia?

    please help,
    desperate

Sounds like you have an infection of the lining of the lungs. Sorry I cannot think of the name of it right now, I am in somewhat of a fibro fog. I have had it quite a few times over the years. It is painful and scary, but it is curable. Oh right plurisy (sp?) is what its called. IV antibiotics, rest etc and you should recover fine. Blessed Be.

Though you have an infection at present I suggest you seek out a practitioner who does Buteyko Breathing technique; easily found with a web search. Even after any infection is cleared, your lungs will be in need of strengthening and this will more than help and probably prevent or lower the risk of you developing your pressent problems again.
    All the best, agape,

I'll second that notion of Buteyko Breathing training. I've done it, because I have a terrible mouth breathing habit and chronic respiratory problems for over 55 years. Buteyko does help. For one, it decreases the amount of mucus in the sinuses ( which had been a major problem for me all my life).

    Good luck!
