I am also a 24 yr old mother with two children who is dealing with this embarressing problem. Worse part of it is that I am a very attractive female who was once confident. I attract many people for them then to discover my little problem. They look at me like I'm discusting or laugh in disbelief. And I too have had numerous embarrassing moments where someone says "check the baby's diaper" or people actually moving away from me and whispering comments about a foul smell. This has caused me to change my personality and has ruined both my social and professional life. I just really feel like I don't want to live anymore if I have to live with this problem but I have two little ones counting on me to keep moving. As a single mother it's really hard and as long as I have this problem, I can't keep a man. I have somewhat of an idea of where it started. With my first born I had a 4th degree tear and had to undergo reconstructive surgery as a result. The muscles down there haven't been the same since. Vaginally everything seems fine, but I feel this agonizing sensation near my rectum whenever I need to go or pass gas(which i can't tell the difference because I don't get the sensation in my stomache before a BM). It's like one minute it's just down there and I gotta do somethin'. When I'm nervous about whether people smell me or not, I can tell the nervousness makes it worse. I find myself trying to hold gas because I don't no if it's just gas alone. I do believe my eating habits and stress levels have a lot to do with the intensity of the conditon. I have poor eating habits(I eat a lot of junk food) which causes irregularity and costipation. I also have a lot of stress as a single mom with a very low income. With the 4th degree tear, I was informed i may have incontinence and would no longer be able to do vaginal births. The sad thing about this diagnosis is there doesn't seem to much of a cure and it gets worse with time. If I were 50-60 yrs living with this condition I'd be like, "Hey I've lived life! Where's the depends?", but I'm just about to be 25 with no social life. I've lost close friends due to this problem, people avoid me and talk about me behind my back, it turns off business at my job, and I recently lost a really great man because of this. He won't tell me that's why he's not around but I know that's what it is. I should have no trouble getting a good man because even with this problem people are in awe of my beauty(until they get a whiff). So for the past 4yrs that I've had this problem, it's torn my self-esteem and confidence. I'm such a humane, empathetic, and multi-talented individual that I could make a lot of great things happen. This problem has ruined all my aspiration. I'm extremely depressed and often let myself go. Sometimes I dread bathing because the reality sets in that I'm clean but I still smell. If there is anyone who has an idea of what specific type of doctor or treatment I should seek, please help me get my life back for my family and our future.

ChicoStix, hang in there. I am going through the same thing. I am a husband and father of two and I have this same problem. I know exactly what you are going through. I am a handsome, athletic, nice guy with a college degree capable of doing a lot but I have this issue. I take two showers a day, wear deodorant, cologne, etc, etc like every other normal guy. But everything I try doesn't seem to rid me of this odor. Work sucks. I average one sarcastic comment a week. I dread going to work now. My wife says she doesn't smell anything and thankfully tries to be understanding but my 4 year old always asks "Whats that smell? so I know it is not my imagination. I hate it so much because people think that I smell that way because I choose to or something but I guarantee I am cleaner than they are because of how often I take showers and the fact that mid way during the day I put more deodorant on but that does not help. I do get so angry though when people say something. I would trade this for just about anything, bad complexion, bad teeth, etc.
Sorry about your man leaving you but hang in there. Someone will come along. This is the first time I have replied on one of these sites but because your situation is so similar I wanted to say hang in there.

I know How you feel Chico. I have a fecal body odor I can't get rid of either. The doctors have had me try everything from antibiotics to vitamin c. Vitamin C. I dread going to work everyday. The whole hangar stinks when I there. When the wind blows my body odor can be smelled a good distance away. I almost never ride with the windows down in my vehicle. I even hate leaving my room because of irritation at peoples comments. Its like they think I want this. I have no social life and my sex life is non existent. I am a good looking guy, but every time I think a woman might be interested she gets a whiff of me. I can't even remember how many times this has happened. My ex-girlfriend, who used to love me doesn't even really want to be bothered with me. The bad thing is that she is a really amazing and understanding woman; one of the nicest I've ever met. I can't blame her though. I really tired of living with this. A fatigue grows inside of me everyday that can't be remedied by increasing the amount of sleep I get. If anyone finds a doctor to treat internal body odor please let me know.

Hey its gbear again...I've been looking around and I found a small maybe temporary solution to this...

I purchased some Chlorophyllin capsules onine...which have about 100milligrams of Chlorophyllin which is supposed to help eliminate body odors right!
I got it about maybe 3 1/2 weeks ago...I take 3 pills a day!

1. Before breakfast
2. Afternoon
3. Before going to bed

They help out alot. I take two showers a day. Morning and night and I do excercise to help the body get rid of the smell through my pores on my face.

I hope this helps...its been ok so far but the only problem is that I think, no Im positive there may not be a cure for this. Taking these pills are going to be a big problem for me...im 20 and trying to hold on to a job is hard!

I'm back because I feel I just need to talk. The comments at work are becoming more obviouse people dont try to hide it anymore. I cry everyday because of this and still can't find releif. The nystatin is the only thing that helps but the doctors say I shouldn't be on it if all my test come back negative for yeast. I'm positive its yeast though but when I by the whole heath food store that pertains to yeast none of it works except the nystatin. I can't figure this thing out. It's hard to get out of bed in the morning and I wait for my job to fire me so I can get unemployment. I can't figure out if this is something my body is going through or something somebody gave to me. Any suggestions? It's getting harder and harder to live like this I can't take it anymore. I also refuse to date although I have no problem getting a man it's just that I don't want them to discover my BIG dark secret so I try to stay away from them as much as possible and continue on the medications. It does help me maintain but it won't make it go away and everytime I try to be medication free it comes back again. I've tried the chloryphyll and to me it didnt really help I tried the threelac also and it did give some releif but not enough and I also had to use it in combination with medicine, maybe I just didn't try it for long enough I'm not sure but what I am sure of is that I'm so confused at this point I dont know wich way to turn. Somebody please come up with something and let us know! I rarely talk to anyone about this because they dont understand are always say they dont smell anything and its all in my mind but i know its not. and so do you.

hi all i to im suffering from this im male and have had it for about 4 years have also lost partners because of this and a baby i think , getting used to it now though lol forgot what it feels like to be normal how mad is that , found something called odour cleanse on another site it directed me to a product called champex some guy said it worked for him , im going to order some tomorrow the guy said to take 2x1000mg with every meal or after the meal i cant remember but anyway hope this helps someone will post back if i find anything new t.t.f.n

I have the same issue. I have been fired from every job I ever had and interviews are a nightmare. Recently an interviewer held her nose as I spoke and dismissed me... what could I do??? I have taken chlorophyll for the past several years and it does not help much, but better than not taking it at all. I have had the fecal odor since childhood and it has been a rough life as I approach midlife. I workout a lot and could clear out my space in the gym when I sweat.
In the past 2 weeks I have found something that seems to be working, but as in the past, I'm afraid it will come back and am reluctant to say that I'm cured. I started taking FIBER CHOICE supplement tablets, three at night and 1 in the morning even though the directions say to take two per day... two per day did nothing. I went to the Dr and told him of my problem and he scraped my tongue and tested positive for yeast, candida I believe, and prescribed antibiotics. After 4 days of taking 4 per day my bowel movements smelled like my sweat and breath did. That lasted 2 days or so and since then my breath does not smell of feces nor does my sweat (I hope). People are actually talking to me now and it seems they are dying to ask what I did but don't want to embarrass me (further).
From what I understood from my doctor, the bacteria from yeast attaches itself to feces in the intestine and goes thru the walls into the bloodstream. The bacteria tries to escape and does so thru breathe, sweat, and urine bringing the fecal odor along with it. Even with strict diets, supplements, and cleansing, the bacteria will remain behind and multiply. Fiber reduces the bowels and antibiotics kill the bacteria. That is MY understanding and I feel better than ever.

I have the same odor problem. But I have never ever smelled myself. Other people, like those in a theater like AMC, would exlaim, "it stinks" and then would gone on to cough and sniff really hard. People at work sniff, cough and rub their noses when they're near me. Once, this janitor was collecting our trash from each desk and when he got to the desk opposite of where I sit, he sniffed and sniffed and sniffed like he smelled something really bad. This is frustrating. I'm afaid to get into elevators because of this. Even right after I showered, once I get out of the house, my neighbors whom I pass by would react strongly. I'm so depressed. I think I'm dying inside. I would not go out with friends or other people, I would always say no, but the reason is this. I'm 24 and this problem started when I was 19. I heard zinc helps in combatting odor. I made an appointmnet with a new doctor and I'll tell him my health problem. I've become a loner because of this.

Also, my right armpit sweats more and sweats easily and smells more than my left ampit. But I think my problem is way beyond just underarm odor, becuase I always keep my underarms in check and they don't stink 90% of the time, they dont stink at work also.
