Camping gone wrong
Hello, please just tell me if this is serious or not!
We went camping and my friend was climbing over a style when she felt her hand was weakened. After that we contiued on after we insisted on gettind her medical attention but she said that she was totally fine and would continue and visit the doctors the nest day.
Her hand wasn't totally weak but had lost considerable power suddenly.
Any ideas what this could be as I cant get in touch with her and am starting to worry.

Re: Camping gone wrong
Stroke symptoms include hand weakness. ANY time you have:
Face drooping
Arm Weakness
Speech slurring
Time to call 911.
The acronym is FAST. ANY of these symptoms-- even if it is only one of them, get help ASAP.

Re: Camping gone wrong
Is it better or does it continue?
It could have just been a compression of a nerve - leading to numbness or muscle weakness.
However, if it continues, she will want ot see a doctor
