URGENT: Rectal Prolapse
Hi
Can someone please suggest a treatment for slight rectal prolapse.
I don't want to consider surgery as a treatment.
Also suggest if there are any medicines available through the internet.
Thanks.

Re: URGENT: Rectal Prolapse
Some how i don't think ur going to get a pill to rectify ur problem, its a bit like asking for a pill to mend a broken leg.
If something pops out something will have to be popped in.....methinks !
I could be wrong, but kinda makes sense to me !
Go see a doctor.
Regards

Re: URGENT: Rectal Prolapse
Ya that's right Tootsie, but i have heard that there are some herbal medicines available, so i just wanted to know if anyone has tried any treatment other then surgery and got relief.
My condition comes under incomplete rectal prolapse...and i want to seek other treatments first.
So please help anyone before its too late for me!!!

Re: URGENT: Rectal Prolapse
Hi again, I asked my daughter about this, she's a nurse, not a doctor i know, but she has said the same thing no pills will help u with this one.
I will be happy for u if someone can come up with something or pill that could help but i doubt it.
Hope u get better soon.
Kind regards.

Re: URGENT: Rectal Prolapse
Hi, thank you so much for your reply.
I have come through lot of sites who guarantee successful treatment for rectal prolapse through herbal/homeopathic medicines:
Some of them are:
http://lapratax.com/
http://rectotab.com/
http://www.pronitin.com/
I think of considering one of these before i go in for some other big treatment.
Kindly tell me what do you think?
Regards!!

Re: URGENT: Rectal Prolapse
Hi again nid,
I took a look & it does look promising but truthfully i just dont know enough about it, there are other members here on the forum that would know more & be able to guide u better, i'm sure they will join in soon.
It would be fantastic if this works for u & i will stand corrected....
If u do go for this treatment please come back & let us know how successful it has been.
Kind regards
& fingers crossed !

Re: URGENT: Rectal Prolapse
Hun I really hope this stuff works for you and I won't go slamming anyones ideas but I worry that you are letting a serious condition go too long to try it, you could potentially just end up with a worse condtion.
I will admit 80% of my medical know how comes from animal medicine but the principals are pretty much the same and this conditon is not uncommon at all in pets....I have never seen it corrected non surgically......Just be careful ok, that area potentially can deliver deadly systemic infection to your body if things go very badly. If it gets AT ALL worse while you are taking the meds GO TO THE DOCTOR! Re: URGENT: Rectal Prolapse
Hi
I misdiagnosed myself....it's not rectal prolapse. I went to my doctor she told me it is Thrombosed Piles. I guess things are a little better for me now. She told me to take sitz bath for a month or two and gave me some laxatives. Also recommended some pain killers if I require so.
Now I'm slowly recovering
Thanks
