stress - oral sex - warmer irritaed genitals
I'm a 23 year old male, I'm under a lot of stress right now and about 2 weeks ago I had oral sex with a man who said he was STD free with no symptoms ever. Afterwards as I constantly thought about if I might have something, and grew paranoid- my testicles became inflamed and irritated. I got it checked out and the doctor told me it was most likely stress and I shouldn't worry too much about it. Yesterday I received and performed oral sex with a couple and the morning after my genitals felt irritated once again they look normal now but they feel like they've been rug burned.
I don't want to feel like I need to get a complete STD exam every time I receive oral sex.
What are the chances of getting an STD from oral sex and what is the likelihood of me passing it by giving oral sex male/female or receiving??
Without any open sores or abrasions.

You could get herpes 1 without any open sores and it could possibly give you the symptoms you have. You can get a blood test for it to confirm it. If he just performed oral sex on someone with a STD (like in the morning and you in the evening), you would get that--so he could, in theory, be harboring herpes 2 or other diseases in his mouth. You also run the risk of getting it in your mouth/throat...like what if you gave him the first blow job and he had herpes 2...then you could get an outbreak of it and whatever else in your mouth/throat. Why not use a condom both ways.
