Please help a child with undiagnosed systems
Please, can anyone help? My grandchild has since her first month of life presented during the first week of the month with very high fevers (often in the high 104 range) along with multiple other symtoms including:
severe lethary, often protile vomiting with inability to even keep a tsp of water down, severe malaise, obvious pallor, movement is painful, fatigue and weakness, complains of head hurting, and sometimes stomach hurting.
Blood draws have revealed elevated white counts (although testing for common infections such as UTI, ear, throat have been negative), IGA, sed rate, T3 and T4 anomalies. She was taken to Dornbeckers when blood results were indicative of cancer, but remains undiagnosed.
She is fine in between these bouts.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. It is appreciated. At the time of her birth when this first started, there were no cell phones in use and no local towers.

How old is your grandchild now? What is her diet like - is she breastfed or bottle fed? Was she premature? What was the pregnancy and labor like?

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. IT is really appreciated. There just has been so much she has gone through without any resulting answers.
She is six years old now. She was not premature. Natural childbirth with no meds and pregnancy was normal. She was breastfed several months. Her diet is not as good as I would like, however, to be honest it is fair.

You mentioned Dornbeckers, Is that Portland, Oregon?
I was just wondering about West nile fever? I know Oregon didn't have there first reported case till 2004 but have they ruled it out?

Yes, that Oregon. This has been going on for a little over six years now. I dont believe that was even a concern at the time this all started. Thanks so much for the idea. I will check it out

Did you ever find out what was causing these symptoms?
