Can this be neurological or something else?
Hi, Sorry this going to be long. My problems started when I was pregnant 2 1/2 years ago. I began getting tremors in my hands that would come and go over time they have gotten worse and now are in my hands all the time and i have tremors in my face mostly in my mouth. Over the last year i have had new symptoms of fatigue, weakness in legs and arms. I went to GP and she did a bunch of blood tests which all came back good. She sent me to a neurologist which had me do an MRI (came back normal) He the neurologist then told me it is not neurological and to get more excersice. I wasnt getting better only worse then about 3 months ago I started waking up stiff and sore it wasn't that painful just enough to make me notice. the pain is mostly in my feet on the bottom and my legs, my arms and hands. that went on for awhile then I started having eye pain which led me to the eye doctor who diagnosed me with scleritis. since that diagnose I am having numbness and pain on that side of face that comes and goes. I know this is long I just don't know what to do every person I have seen tells me I have nothing and its in my head which then makes me not want to go to any doctors. Please if any one can give me some ideas of what could be going on. I don't even know if these are all related.
Thanks

Hi Confused81,
Please don't give up going to doctors b/c you haven't been dxd yet - I'm no expert; it sounds neurological to me. I have MS. But I also have Lupus, (I'm a mixed bag of autoimmune disease) so I hope you are being checked for both - they are both usually treatable. I am living proof. Hang in there.

Re: Can this be neurological or something else?
Look up essential tremor and trigeminal nerve problems.

Also, what meds are you taking. Do you smoke and use caffeine? If so, try to quit or reduce usage.

Re: Can this be neurological or something else?
Hi thank you for replying I appriciate it. I am currently on welbutrin which I have been on for over 4 years. all the doctors agree this is not what is causing it. I do smoke about 4 cig. a day and I did quit drinking caffine that was the first thing any of the doctors had said to do. Still only getting worse. I go in to see GP tommorrow so I am hoping she can run more tests. I was told it could be the essential tremor but that it is very hard to dx.
Thanks again

Hi its me again I just wanted to say that I went to my GP and she ran some more tests and so far they have all come back normal. she would like to see me back in a month she thinks it could be more neurological and said she would give me a refferal to a diffrent doc. so we will see at least she sees that something is going on. Thanks

Are you diabetic? If not, you could have been exposed to a poison. Maybe it's a magnesium or mineral deficiency. If not those two, perhaps a virus...calls for more testing..

Re: Can this be neurological or something else?
Well it could be a poison that they won't check you for; plus, it's been over two years, so the initial poison may not surface, if that is what it is. I am thinking something like radiation or xray exposure. Check what is in your local environment and do a google search on those poisons...like, if you live near a mine, they give off certain poisons. Places in Colorado are hot spots for radiation, etc. You could try a half dozen radiation baths: 2 lbs sea salt + 2 lbs baking soda....take very hot bath, like for half hour or more....take a half dozen of them...you can take as much as 5 lbs of each and for your first bath I think I would do 4 lbs of each. You can also drink 1/4 teaspoon of each in water, a few times a day.
next: do you have a carbon monoxide detector? Get one. What about your exhaust system in your car? What about heavy metal/mercury in your mouth or an undiscovered infection? Start with mercury removal ($$$)...I'm not sure about the feet and legs, it sounds like a circulation issues, so be sure and have your heart checked over real good....the other bath for other heavy metal poisons is: 1 cup of clorox, plain, soak until water cools...usually one will do the job here...if you get a rash, that is poison coming out of your tissues, which is good--
How is your child's health? You could have something totally different, but I'm looking at ways to get it out of your system...

Re: Can this be neurological or something else?
Hi thanks monsterlove and blaze.
Monsterlove, I do have a carbon monoxide det. and my vehicle is new so I wouldn't think it would be from that and I do not have any metal fillings. I don't live near mines or any radiation hot spots that I know of. How would I find out about radiation where I live? All 3 of my children are very healthy besides the common cold once a year. Thank you for all the info I am willing to try anything just so I can feel better. My dr. called and wanted to put me on a pill that is an anti-depres. but helps with some neuro. things but I am not so sure about that I hate putting all that med. in my body and this pill has some extremely scary side effects. Thanks again
