    Question flu shots

    I had a flu shot and pneumonia shot yesterday. Today my blood sugars are testing high. is this normal?

    Yes it is possible. These vaccines help you to build up your own immune system. You body in response to this will naturally produce a response. It's like if you were sick and your body was fighting off an infection - your sugars go up. If your on insulin sliding scale - just adjust your dose accordingly
