painful intercourse
I am a 50 yr old female who has had 5 C-sections..the last one being about 8 years ago. For at least the past 5 years sex is increasingly painful..not just starting in but all the time. I went to a family planning council to get a pap test done and asked the nurse and she thought it was scar tissue from the c-sections and there was nothing I can do except use KY jelly..however it is not dryness but it feels like there is something there that the ***** hits (sorry to be so graphic). I have always had irregular periods and now have read about polyscopic ovaries...not sure if I had/have that..I have not gone through menopause if I have I had no idea. ANyways..I truly need to get this taken care of..my h is not happy w his sexlife and I have no desire to feel ripped into everytime.

Re: painful intercourse
Maybe you need to see a sensitive doctor. Sounds like a little reconstructive surgery...you have had your pap, so was that normal?

Re: painful intercourse
Yes the pap test came back normal. I don't know who to see..the nurse at the clinic made me feel like it was really nothing to be concerned about and I am not worried but I can't go on like this..rather my marriage can't. I dread having sex and that is not very good w being married. I have no health insurance either so that is a problem.

Re: painful intercourse
There's your problem; no health insurance. Try a few acupuncture treatments with a doctor who specializes in female conditions. It will make you feel better and be a lot cheaper and less painful than surgery.
