I am having a strange gurgling noise at the base of my skull. Thought it was a precurser to a stroke or aneurism but MRI negative. After much identification of baselining I have found the event that seems to be the most revealing. When I lay down I can hear my stomach churn and then the strange noise (almost like an echo from my stomach) even some pressure related to noise. Has to be gastrointestional? Diagnosed with gerd 5 years ago and have a hiatal hernia. If the gastric is traveling bach up my trachea is it possible to hear these noises internally? Have had a botched deviated septum surgery 7 years ago. Dime size hole in my septum way at the back of my sinus.
