    Default Bumps on vagina.

I have recently noticed pimple like bumps on my vagina, not on the inside of the inner labia or around the vaginal opening, but between the inside of the lips and between where the labia minora hang. I haven't been to the doctor yet, but will be going next week. I have looked at several pictures on three types viruses including herpes, hpv, and molluscum. None of these look like what I have. These bumps are practically invisible and have not itch, but you can see them if you pull the skin tight. It looks almost like chicken skin. I've never noticed this before, but I thought once before that I had hpv and went to the doctor several times and was fine. Now I'm suffering anxiety about this to the extent that I can't sleep. Does normal vaginal labia just look like this? Am I being paranoid? I think I may be, but I can't stop thinking about it. I've read a few forums with similar questions, but the only answers were from very young girls who were not sexually active, but I can't rule out an STD or STI. Any opinions?

i would suggest that they are normal glands that look like little tiny white pimples/papilla. it is normal for the labia minora, prepuce, and opening around the vagina to have these little glands and nothing to worry about. the skin often has a bumpy texture. its nothing to worry about, but sadly the lack of information and lack of realistic visual representations of women's anatomy leads to common fears that our bodies are abnormal. if you're still worried, but go to the gyno and i'm sure they will tell you its normal.

I have had these rough bumps on at about the 6 o'clock position under my vaginal opening, I have no idea what they are. They dont seem to be getting any larger. Could they be like scar tissue, cause when I have sex with my fiance, when I go to the bathroom afterward there is a little bit of blood. Could I be tearing the skin and not know it and these bumps just be the skin healing itself? Please help, I am getting really worried about what it could be.

Never assume anything; get a pap and blood test for herpes 2.

Sounds like a clogged pore to me. Apparently they run very deep in the outer labia. I remember getting one when I was about 15 and made myself an appointment with my doctor to check it out (thought I had cancer). He just confirmed that it was a clogged pore and to soak in a warm tub periodically. I've had a couple since and it will eventually get a "head" on it like a pimple. Gross, I know, but hey...

Just keep an eye on it. If it's not really bothering you and eventually goes away, it's probably nothing to worry about.

I just recently noticed that i have a bump on the outer part of my vagina and i know for a fact it cant be any form of std because i have never had sex. its just outside of the vagina and its very painful im just afraid it might be some kind of cancer.
