Nausea, no appetite, post nasal drip?

While i was pregnant with my son 3 years ago i was extremely nauseated. i was told it was just morning sickness. well i had it the whole 9 months. NO appetite, felt sooo sick everyday, all day. well the doctor assured me it would go away after i had my son. didnt happen. he is now 2 1/2 and i still have it. I have had every test it seems, EGD (just showed some mild gastritis), colonoscopy (came back fine), blood tests, gastric emptying scans, pH monitor (showed no GERD, reflux), etc. i had a celiac disease test come back positiove so i did a gluten free diet for a year with no luck what so ever. only one of the several tests came back positive for celiac so after i year i quit the expensive diet. one gastric emptying scan came back horrible, so i tried every medication (even one from Canada) with no luck. next emptying scan came back great. ive had some stomach problems for years, but never like this. i was told it was IBS when i was in high school and i tried every medication it seemed, with no success. i constantly feel so full i feel sick. i eat 2 bites of food and feel like i cant get it down. the nausea never goes away and i NEVER feel hungry. the only way i know i need to eat is when i get weak and shakey after not eating for awhile. ive tried so many things (more than what ive listed) and im at a complete loss. i feel like my drs think im crazy. im just sick of never feeling well and its having a horrible impact on my life. recently i just realized that ive had constant post nasal drip. i guess ive been so used to it, i never realized it was there. but everytime i swallow im swallowing whatever is in the back of my throat. im not sure if maybe that could be something? any advice or ideas would be GREATLY appreciated. i might be leaving a test or something out that ive had done, but if i think of anything else ill post another message. thank you!!!

I have been suffering with exactly the same thing over years now. It comes and it goes but nausea is the main symptom. Constant. I also eat two bites of food and then it feels like I've eaten a banquet and I have "stuffed" myself. It also affects me psychologically. Feeling nauseous makes me anxious - I think "Am I going to be sick?" and it never comes, thus creating suspense... and the anxiety and suspense of always feeling like you could vomit (although strangely I NEVER do) make it worse. And on and on it goes. A few things I've been trying to ask myself recently concerning this is, "where is the sick feeling?" is it in my throat, stomach, head? Because nausea can come in all different places. Do medications stop it? (I take stemetil and metocolpramide but I don't want to be taking them all my life) Is it a hormone problem? Dd pregnancy make it happen? Is it a purely psychosomatic problem? Is it worse at a particular time of the day? (mine is always worse in the evening) I also have a phobia of vomiting, it's called emetophobia and I believe this may be a cause too. Are you unsusally anxious or fearful about anything? I'm asking myself all these questions and I just don't know what to do. Do you know what I mean?

well i can understand most of what you said. i too am deathly afraid of vomitting, but i always have been so im not sure why it would have gotten so much worse. i thought maybe it could have been hormones or something because it didnt happen until i got pregnant. i have tried SO many medications. the only thing i get any relief from is Phenergan. but it makes me so sleepy. i also eat 2 bites and feel like i ate a whole dinner, feeling ready to burst. thanks for the reply and understanding. but none of it makes sense to me. and obviously not to any doctor ive seen before either. seems like every test ive had comes back normal (gallbladder test, egd, colonoscopy, all that fun stuff...). this really is hard being that im only 23. my life has completely changed. i feel so sick it makes it hard to take care of my son. i dont ever want to go out and do things because i feel so sick. its just really made my life feel like **** basically. and im just to the point i cant handle it anymore. i want to eat, i want to feel ok!

Can they do blood work for the kind of hormones secreted during pregnancy? Maybe it's an endocrine problem but I'd first consult my OB/GYN.

Look into Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, don't let the name fool you. The symptoms posted in this thread fit the bill.
Also look into correlation between CFS/vaccines MC

I'd say depression/anxiety with deep unresolved emotional issues. Lack of self-respect/self-worth, a loss of interest in the beautiful things in life and deep fears of losing control because of high expectations and anger whenever you as a person cannot perform accordingly.

Hepatitis?

Hepatitis C is the most common liver disease currently seen in clinical practice. The incubation period, from the time of exposure to the virus until the onset of the disease, is one to six months. Early symptoms include poor appetite, lack of interest in food, nausea, aching muscles and joints, and light fever. Some people experience only mild symptoms such as tiredness, periodical pressure below the right ribs caused by the enlarging liver, and aching muscles and joints. Only 1 in 10 patients with acute Hepatitis has symptoms. The remaining nine have no symptoms whatsoever. In 8 out of 10 patients, the infection becomes chronic.

Many patients remain asymptomatic until decompensation occurs. Lack of symptoms and minor liver enzyme elevations are typical of HCV infection and cannot be taken as evidence of lack of progression. HCV RNA testing confirms the diagnosis. Liver biopsy helps assess disease activity and stage the severity of fibrosis and is recommended for most patients with hepatitis C. Once this information is obtained, a rational program for treatment and monitoring can be planned. Patients with newly discovered hepatitis C infection require thorough education about the disease's natural history, transmission, interaction with alcohol, and treatment. In many cases, referral to a gastroenterologist or hepatologist may be the appropriate way to ensure necessary instruction and availability of the latest treatment options.

Other less common symptoms include pain or discomfort in the abdomen on the right side, itching, nausea, appetite/weight loss, mental fuzziness. Hepatitis C virus is one of many causes of swelling of the liver (hepatitis). The liver plays a crucial role in cleaning the blood and metabolizing different substances we ingest. When the liver isn't working correctly, "poisons" build up in the blood. In addition, the liver makes bile, and if it isn't released correctly, it builds up in the body causing a yellowing of the skin and eyes (called jaundice and icterus, respectively). People first infected with HCV commonly get mild flu-like symptoms with aches, fever, and chills.
