Default Joint Pain plus red lumps / bumps / spots on my legs and arms...getting worse!

About 2 1/2 months ago I woke up and had big and small red lumps / bumps / spots under the skill; on my legs and some around my elbows, they are not itchy but sore when I press on them. As well as this my ankles, knees and elbows (joints basically) were in incredible pain when I moved or did anything; I also had a tight sore chest and throat but that didn’t seem so big in comparison.

After going to the doctors several times, and taking inflammatory pills, anti-biotic etc the pain and bumps were still there just getting worse. So I was recommended to see a Rheumatologist at the hospital, they believed it could be some viral infection and my body was just reacting to it. I have now been taking some anti-inflammatory pills that are much stronger; for the last 3 weeks and the bumps on legs have gone down a little and turning a bruise colour - but they are still coming up and moving their way up the body slowly, more appearing and disappearing on a daily basis on the whole of my arms and the back of my legs and knees, as well as some patches on my thighs now. I just don't know what to do and it is making my life ****! Any help would really be appreciated.

My sister has suffered these red "nodules" for years
Originally, doctors told my mom she had a strange form of rheumatiod
She has just been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
    The nodules are a symptom
doctors couldn't figure it out for 20 years
    Now they have
    Good Luck

Red face Re: Joint Pain plus red lumps / bumps / spots on my legs and arms...getting worse!

PLEASE go to a dermatologist! I know, I didn't want to either. A punch biopsy found mine to be Erythema Nodosum. Google it, but find out. Not that knowing has helped me. They can't find a cause. It started 2 years ago right after I had a major respiratory issue. Nothing is better. I had Lyme Disease in 2003 and somehow it all seems linked, to me. My full story is at a site I made... www.airllusion.com/lyme.html Good luck! I know it's hard. Hang in there.

Erythema Nodosum is a symptom of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It is not a diagnosis, it is a symptom.
    Google symptoms checkers
enter that term and other symptoms
Before onset of symptoms, did you suffer a trauma(accident/emotional)?
    have a severe illness(flu)?
    Have a recent vaccination?

Thanks for your responses, the doctor did say it was Erythema Nodosum. However i don't really know of why i have it or the cause...i had a bad cold for 10 days but thats it really. Well its been 3 months now probably and i am no where near to knowing. Do i need to undergo any more tests apart from blood, throat swab?

For anyone that does suffer from Erythema Nodosum, it has been 3 months almost and still not real difference...shall if expect this is going to be a long term infection and to be patient or is there something i can do that can speed the process up. Anti-inflammatories don't cure they just help short-term.

    Sounds like you have Kawasaki-
Activated by a virus, created by vaccines, like Hepatitis B vaccine.
You need to continue taking anti- inflammatory remedies. Perhaps you are intolerant to the drugs.
This is immune dysfunction galore! So get ready to try something unorthodox: alternative medicine.

A rheumatologist can't figure it out, because they don't work on the Nervous system. The problem is in the Brain, not in the skin or joints.
These repsonses are very debilitating for your liver, so throwing in some drugs on it becomes a heavy load.

My advice: NAET- ask to be tested for viruses, hormones, vaccines, histamine, mercury and aluminum intolerance

The natural way: dandelion root, milk thistle, quercitin, eat lots of yams, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, onions, broccoli, and ginger.

    Best.
