Seen two doctors, really getting worried! Please help?
I've posted on here before but received no response, and I really would appreciate any insight you all can offer.
Perhaps 2 years ago I noticed that I had some sort of firm mass beneath the skin on the upper left side of my abdomen below the ribs. Having a doctor look at it basically told me that they believed it to be attached to the muscle, but my concerns were basically dismissed, despite the fact I experience a chronic dull ache in my left flank and the occasional sharp, stabbing pain.
A few months later, I started to experience quite a few digestive/respiratory problems I'd never had a history of, i.e. terrible nausea and/or cramps, frequent diarrhea, chronic cough that oddly seems to worsen and become sort of "wet" when I laugh or run much...again all dismissed by a doctor. Stress, they said.
In early January of this year, I noticed a swollen, hard knot in my throat that rolls slightly when palpated and feels as though it is attached to something. It is painless, but has not disappeared as swollen lymphnodes generally should.
Recently I've noticed that I've been experiencing the same dull ache/intermittent sharp pains in my RIGHT side as well, as well as rather intense cramping pain in my stomach. Too low for indigestion, and like all of my other stomach symptoms does not appear to be effected by my diet. There have been times where it doubled me over and hurt when I pressed on it.
Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I'm a 20-year-old female with no history of chronic illness, 5'7 and 125 lbs. No reason I can think of to have all this pop up within the last few years. Two or three doctors have basically blown off my concerns and said it's nothing, but I know my body best and I disagree. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Mommycat, maybe try offering some advice to people instead of spamming that website in every response you offer. Aside from nausea, Hannahbanana displays NONE of those symptoms. No fever, no vertigo or impaired coordination. None of it.
The first poster sounds like they might be on the right track. Crohn's or some sort of pancreatic/gallbladder disorder.

Dear Unregistered...do you know ME symptoms???Obviously not...abdominal cramping, diarrhea, , nausea, cough, swollen lymph nodes, dull/sharp pain in abdomen, chronic illness, no diagnosis...these are ALL ME symptoms...also, she is asking for help and I'm offering...They tried telling me I had everything from Chron's to Carcinoid cancer...now all other possibilities have been exhausted and my dr is testing me for ME...have you not looked around this site??? Do you know ME symptoms??? I do...I live with them daily....Instead of spamming me...do something constructive...Has it not ocurred to you that I am posting this info on several sites???? I'm a nurse and I can tell you MANY people are having ME symptoms...whether anyone WANTS to believe it or not...Have a nice day...mommy cat

Dear Mommycat,
Yeah. Read the site, and it sounds mostly like a crock. Saying "oh, so many people display all these symptoms...they must have ME!" is almost laughable. As someone in the professional medical field myself, it's equally laughable that you spam that site on MULTIPLE boards. Spamming by it's very definition is to send messages indiscriminately to multiple groups of any sort...I don't see how my chastising you for being a spammer is spamming.
If it is, that'd make me the spammiest spammer that ever spammed.
It sounds like the original poster is probably living with quite a few nasty symptoms as well, though they seem to be more likely due to a GI tract problem than any sort of virus.
I'd advise her to at least get some testing done for the normal slew of diseases and conditions before she started ranting about ME or alien probing or whatever else fanatics like yourself blather about.
If you were a nurse in MY hospital, I'd see to it you were fired...if not for your fanatical behavior then for your utter lack of grammatical ability.

Hey "unregistered"!
You are so rude! You quote "MY Hospital". Please let us know exactly which hospital is yours!
Your bedside manner is atrocious. I am guessing you don't have much contact with patients....ones that are awake that is.
Why would you put down someone you don't even know?
Despite Mommy Cat's many posts, she is not unkind or exhibiting any kind of "god complex" issues like you are! Care from people like YOU are the reason many posts are made to this site!
Why exactly are YOU on this site? Did you post with a problem, "unregistered"? If you are here to help people with your expertise, this is no way to do it!

"Unregistered" there is only one way to describe your ill-fitting attitude....insensitive. Mommy cat does not have to put aside time to HELP people...but she does. And she must be a wonderful person to do so. Thats why we are all here. To ask for help and to give help. I posted a query only today, about bad chest pain that ive been having for a while. No one has helped me, so i'm sure that the person who posted "Seen two doctors, really getting worried! Please help?" would be entirely grateful to any help. Please be a little sympathetic.

Dear Dr...YOU ARE EXACTLY WHY NOONE can get a diagnosis...if everyone is sick...and doctors don't believe they are sick...and don't believe in a disease that exists that is making these people sick...then what kind of doctor are they??? I'm not 'SPAMMING'...I'm trying to help a lot of people who have been trying for a long time to get a diagnosis...myself being one of them...Obviously, the world does not need more doctors like you. If you took 5 minutes to look at this site...you would see everyone saying the same things...neurologial problems, BP, GI, Hormonal, endocrine ect...Every heading says same thing...please help...noone can figure out...been to several doctors...If you took the time, you would see what I mean...bye, Doc
