    Default muscle burning/pain

Hi, if anyone has any ideas over this one please please please let me know.

I'm sorry this is so long, but I am not too sure how to condense it further.

There are things that run in my family, but if I mention these health professionals jump on them and really I would like to have a clean slate since they really have no idea.

    brief discription:
    - Worse in the morning
    - Wakes me out of my sleep
    - Seems to affect me more in the second half of the day, rather than the morning and early afternoon.
    - It is definitely in my arm/leg muscle or tendon.
    - I do get some relief if I submerge my arms in ice cold water w/ice cubes.
    - For a few days after a massage in these areas I haven't had problems in the morning - this could be coincidence.
    - It's not every morning...but seems atleast to be every month for a duration of days. I can get 1-2 bouts fo it a month.
    - I discribe this as a burning-ache combo. It's not like a punding headache where there is relief to the ache in between pounds - this is constant.
    - I can't take anti-inflammatories right now as my allergist has said that he suspects I have a "combo" allergy that includes them. I have had several life threatning allergic reactions.
    - Everyone looks at me like I am sligthly nuts when I suggest this: I think alcohol (red wine in particularily) and red meat intensify this. Every time I have a fondue - I am on the floor half in tears a few hours later. Coincidence? Maybe. I really don't know. Every time I drink, even if it's a small amount I have these symptoms in the night. This is new.
    - I do have allergies to yeast and fermenting things, but the allergist is not familiar with these symptoms being caused by an allergy.
    - He did suggest that I should pay attention to meat tenderizers.

    - location of pain....mucles under elbow going through the center of my forearm, down to the center area just above my wrist. Then. it feels like this terrible ache inside my wrist. In the morning for several HOURS I have trouble moving my hands. Typing would be pretty much impossible. My job requires hand dexterity so this is terrifying.

    - It is also in my calves expecially....but also the tops of my thighs. There seems to be a large focal area of pain directly above my ankles.

Any suggestions of things I can look into would be EXTREMELY appreciated. I am getting very discouraged.

I have suffered with symptoms like this for the past 2 years. I was finally refered to a consultant rheumatologist & was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. There is a lot of disagreement within the medical profession as to whether this condition exists but if you can find a sympathetic consultant it really helps. I also have some allergies & there is a school of thought that believe fibromyalgia is linked to allergies & exposure to toxins including alcohol, cigarette smoke & even carbon monoxide.

    Hi,

Thanks. Is there anything you've found that helps? Maybe something that I could try?

    ALSO:

1.Forgot to add that I get red bumpy rashes across my chest occasionally. 2. I generally hurt on both sides at the same time. Never really one location at a time.
    3. I get migraines...but also terrible headaches that are not migraines that last days.
    4. I get the worst period cramps that I have ever heard anyone describe. I had an operation/procedure to check for endametriosis (sp?) and don't have it... I black out from this pain, I spend a lot of time leaning over the toilet sick and cannot stand up.

I find this so discouraging. This is wrecking my life.

once u will consult rheumatologist I think they will go ahead and do tests like ESR and other Antibodies tests and seems like it could be Fibromyalgia or it could be SLE or combinations of all these can be possible too but you need good Rheum DOC.

Fibro is just a trash can diagnosis that they give when they can't find the problem.
They just throw pain pills at it and hope you go away.

    Exclamation Re: muscle burning/pain

I have an immune system problem that causes all these symptoms. Been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Lyme Disease and other things. But I would look closely at Candida Overgrowth. I've done the strict candida diet for 2 months with diflucan- and the pain went down 80 percent. The reason why it is worse before your period or during or with red wine...etc.. is because Candida flourishes with fermented/ yeast like things/sugars/dairy/white flour. And because we get more of a hormone before and during our period that it LOVES.

Diet and exercise, diet and exercise, diet and exercise. My suggestion is stay away from medical doctors unless you have a broken bone or are bleeding to death. Most, if not all, diseases are from improper diet and a lack of exercise coupled with high stress. Eat raw, non-GMO (Genetically modified organism) vegetables; organic, grass fed meat; yard eggs; unpasteurized milk products; and, add spices to your meals, especially cayenne pepper, one or more teaspoon(s) per day. Read the benefits of cayenne pepper for circulation. Stay away from sugars (alcohol), and grains (which become sugar in your body), high fructose corn syrup, and all processed foods (e.g. foods with MSG, preservatives, artificial coloring, etc.), they are poisons to your body. Since tap water is mostly contaminated, you might want to drink distilled water, good well water if you have it. Do not eat any soy products or corn products, they are mostly all GMO.
My wife was diagnosed with lupus and is a victim of hypothyroidism from processed foods. She went to a doctor when she had joint pain and weight gain to receive information that she had lupus and that she would have her lupus condition get worse and the weight gain as a constant companion. She changed her diet, took no drugs, exercised, and in three months had lost her weight, had increased mobility and decreased pain in her joints for over ten years now. She went back to the doctor three months after her diagnosis and told him what she had done, he dismissed her improvement as coincidence. She promptly fired him. Presently she is able to do what she wants, when she wants as a result of her decision and action.
You are in a world that basks in drugs, and pain promoted by poisons in our food supplies. Pharmaceuticals and Medical Doctors do not make money unless you are sick. The more wellness there is, the less money the pharmacies and doctors, hospitals, health care people, etc. make. Doctors have a license to practice medicine, a license is, "The permission by competent authority to do an act which, without such permission, would be illegal, a trespass, or a tort." Black's Law Dictionary, Fifth Edition. That means that what they are doing is illegal, a trespass or a tort against you. Telling the truth, however, would be none of the three but a blow to their pocketbook.
Take something like Tai Chi exercises and meditate. Be patient, your life will change for the better. Be blessed.

I agree with the previous poster. I have had migraines for about 10 years. every single day. the drugs were killing me and I started to have weird symptoms like a terrible buring pain in my upper arm. I thought I had cancer but an x-ray did not show anything. I still have no idea what is is but symtpoms are same as yours. When I first got it I decided to try the Budwig diet. you can google it. basically its all organic vegetarian diet and you eat cottage cheese and flax seed oil well cobmined to make a muesli and add freshly ground flax as well. I am following the diet to the T and no one I know would do that diet. Lo and behold after a few days my migraines became fewer and further between and now I have no had one in 3 weeks. I was either very deficient and malnourisghed in vitamins or something I was eating was causing them or they were rebound from the meds. I ate lots of eggs, no fat and tons of soy hi protein bars. Needless to say i am thrilled to stop the migraines. I think in time the pain in my arm will stop. I refuse to go to regular doctors because all they know how to do is prescribe pain pills or cut. People hate to give up their pills, alcohol, sugar and junk foods so I doubt anyone would do this diet but I'll be on it for the rest of my life

muscle burning could be because of overexertion, bursitis, or disease.
