White painful hard lump inside of ear

Hi there- I'm a bit nervous. I was getting really dizzy on Friday and getting headaches. I then realized yesterday that there is a big white lump in my ear. Like on the wall to the entrance of the ear. If I touch it- it hurts and it sends pain up into my head. I'm a little scared- because it's getting bigger I think. Anyone ever had this? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

It seems like a boil. I had that too. As a matter of fact I just got rid of it couple hours ago. This may be nasty to read but...earlier I was messing with it trying to pop it and it made a huge sound "booooop" then pus came out...so I looked at it in the mirror and there still was some more so I did it again and it went "booooop". And what came out was mostly blood, lots of it and there was also a large blood clot in it too. Disgusting. Anyway, I'm sure glad I got it out. But some say it can be from not cleaning your ears or the radiation of talking on cell phones.

Hi, i'm eleven and I have just found a lump inside my ear. Just like you described it. Should I make an appointment at my local doctor?

my left ear started hurting a couple of weeks ago n i couldn't put my headphone in it to listen 2 music. now a big lump's grown n i can only just fit a finger in my ear.. any ideas what it could be? think am goin the doctors tomorrow but am scared incase it's somethin bad! x

could be a pimple my sister in law had one there the dr popped it and gave her some antibiotics

ok, this will sound scary, but you should go to a doctor, anytime you find a lump or bump and it is increasing in size, it might be a cancerous cyst. If you catch it early, it won't be a big problem. It might be nothing, but why take the chance.
